Encased in beautiful crushed shell from the Philippines. Mostly mother of pearl, the shells are sustainably sourced (certified as not endangered and sourced in accordance to local fishery laws). We've also decided not to limit the design to one shell type, which, in addition to providing a beautiful range of colors, helps us ensure that a particular shell is not over-sourced.
NOTES:
This Blush Stick contains a high amount of virgin coconut oil (VCO) which naturally “butters” below 76°F (24°C). If the VCO in this product hardens in cold temperatures, it may temporarily affect glide and color transfer. To normalize, simply store the product in a room at or above 77°F (25ºC), or place the closed container (cap side down) in a small dish of about an inch of hot (not boiling) water, then apply as normal.
Each shade may come in any of the 3 shell finishes. We did this to help ensure that no one shell is ever over-sourced...whatever is available at a given time, is used.
